A routine satanic ritual goes horribly wrong as two cult members attempt to contact with something from the other side. They learn that some calls are best left unanswered.

*666 is inspired by the occult and the board game Girl Talk. It was created as an experiment with practical effects on Super 8 film and was debut as part of the One Take Super 8 event in the 2022 WNDX Festival of Moving Image. It was then featured as part of Aurora Gorealis: Canadian Horror Marathon at the Dave Barber Cinematheque in the same year. It has since played in multiple festivals around the world including Fantastic Fest, Grrl Haus Cinema, and Fantasia Film Festival where it received the Silver Audience Choice Award for Best Canadian Short.
